I applaud Linden Lab for really working diligently to make things easy as possible for Second Life users, especially in the answering of arcane questions that will inevitably pop-up. questions that are far better answered officially than through hearsay from resident to resident.
The 'help' links have always pointed to the Second Life wiki, only now you venture through the "help portal'. Knowledge-base links point you a bit more concisely to the relevant information on the wiki. A considerably better set-up and far easier to use since the 'dark days' of wiki-only.
Now Linden Lab has a hand-dandy Q&A blog to add to the growing family of category-specific blogs. Though I wonder if the noble effort (yes, I really mean that, too) is not being directed to the wrong place.
Obviously there are not many people not on the Linden Lab payroll who really know in-depth what the plans are for things including the grid and the viewer. Perhaps the in-viewer help-clicks will point to this new "Q&A" blog?
If not, then effort might be wasted as those miniscule numbers of residents even aware of any official or unofficial Second Life blogs are adept enough to know the answers to the questions (and answers) posed there.
And if there are intentions to have 'help' clicks within the viewer point here, I think it could be a mistake, if this Q&A blog replaces the wiki.
As for alt accounts? The answer to "how many can I have" is not new to anyone who's been a resident for longer than a couple months. Well, the official answer anyway.
So, with the new "anti-gaming-traffic" policy in effect, if a parcel of land has more than four bots, gaming traffic or not, shouldn't they be penalized for breaking the TOS with regard to number of alt accounts?
/me sighs.
The only thing I don't like about bots and campers is how they affect the map when I'm in a sim-hopping mood. So go here and vote for this proposed feature to help sim-hoppers know when to bail on a sim they've landed on with it's nothing more than a bot-hive.

All alt accounts must adhere to all of Second Life’s policies. For example, by agreeing to the Terms of Service (TOS)you agree to provide truthful and accurate information about yourself when you register for accounts — that includes not only your contact information and real name but also whether this is your first free Basic account or a new alt (see TOS section 2.1). People who do not provide truthful information risk losing their accounts.
