Our favorite watermelonie, happy-go-lucky Linden gives a great peek at the inside in this week's video tutorial. But is it a tutorial? Ah, the enigmatic quagmire of definition. Who cares? It's really good stuff and a must-see for everyone.
Okay - it's a tutorial on why not to dump vicious comments in the SL blog, because they really do try to fix things? Your call.
I try to bring attention to Torley's video tutorials whenever he posts them, because the vast, massive majority of Second Life users, a.k.a. 'residents' simply don't even know it exists, much less even vitis it on a regular basis. Even though headlines are posted directly in the viewer.
Once you get used to seeing the static splash screen, you tend to just blast-in the password and hit enter. Then, provided there aren't any grid issues, (Second Life is an adventure, I say,) you're in.
So, even if not interested in most of the items for discussion on the official Second Life blog, at the very least, you may want to keep an eye out for these tutorials when they come along. And, it have become much easier to find the video tutorial archives.
So, if you are a new resident, or an "oldbie" - try visiting Torleys perspecive on Second Life for a day. Keep notepad and pencil handy because I suspect you'll be a scribbling scribe, jotting every "holy-sh!t, I dodn't know that!"

Torley at SL Blog:
“Lindens” (not to be confused with Linden dollars, or L$) are employees of Linden Lab, the company behind Second Life. We’re inworld as avatars too, and I advocate us to experience SL so that we both (1) share the enjoyment and (2) understand what’s important to you.
